You should know that it is now compulsory for a PhD student to have a financial support (salary, scholarship, grant). Therefore once you have reached an agreement with a laboratory and a supervisor you should apply jointly for the suitable financial support for your PhD.
There are several funding possibilities available at EDX, each of them following different rules and selection criteria and having different deadlines. For all of them, applications are reviewed by a selection committee of experts.
Once your application ahs been accepted by EDX and you have found a hosting laboratory, a PhD supervisor and obtain a PhD funding you can register in 1 st year.
