TRAVEL GRANT
The doctoral school is committed to encouraging international collaborations and mobility of PhD Students. In accordance with this objective and thanks to the X-fundation fund raising campain for l'Ecole Polytechnique, travel grants are awarded to visit laboratories abroad for collaborative research (few weeks to few months) with a clear scientific relevance for PhD students.
The amount of the travel grant depends on the location and length of stay and is conditioned to the assessment of the chairmen of the 5 scientific fields.
In any case, travel grants are not designed to support travel and/or participation to meetings, scientific conferences or summer schools, furthermore PhD students are strongly encouraged to find other sources of funding as the EDX travel grants should only be used as a partial aid.
Travel grant may also be granted to PhD students from foreign universities who wish to come to work for few weeks in one of the Lab of The Ecole Polytechnique Research centre.
