    French National Health and Pensions Organisation affiliation

    If you have a Scholarship from the French government:
    • You are an EU national :you need to supply a proof of funding and a copy of your European health insurance card to Mrs. Crépeau (SRHEC) to be exempt from French National Health Organisation tax.
    • You are a non-EU national :you need to supply a certificate of insurance valid in France for the duration of you stay to Mrs. Crépeau (SRHEC) to be exempt from French National Health Organisation tax.

    In either case, EU or non-EU national, you must register at the social security centre of your place of residence in France. In this respect you will have to supply a proof of EDX attendance as well as a proof of funding.

    Note that if you have a grant comparable to a salary, you must provide your local social security centre with a copy of your payslip that will switch your status from student to regular.

    Complementary mutual health insurance for student :
    even if you are under the social security regular status, you are entitled to a student Complementary mutual health insurance.
